I wonder if you might consider adding a more general party unity control a la the recent Carson, Lebo, and Koger AJPS, as I could see the result being more a function of that vs. health care per se? Of course given the split on health care, the data might lack the power to differentiate between the two.Ben Bishinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3412583847145043520.post-16553934247365115932010-11-05T15:57:14.215-06:002010-11-05T15:57:14.215-06:00Percentage of voters over 65:

After all, John Spratt / Earl Pomeroy / Chris Carney all owed their seats to the votes of ticket-splitting McCain supporters, who wouldn't have backed Obama anyway. But a pro-ACA vote could easily have lost their support.Richard Skinnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3412583847145043520.post-41951790182101399902010-11-05T14:46:09.667-06:002010-11-05T14:46:09.667-06:00Striking how rural / old a list this is.Striking how rural / old a list this is.Richard Skinnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3412583847145043520.post-68635600325259741802010-11-05T14:46:03.888-06:002010-11-05T14:46:03.888-06:00Whoops, coding error.
