This should be more of a scandal.

Some of the weirdest moments of the Bush administration are those in which W appears as the voice of moderation. Yes, it could have been worse.

    I thought the same thing this morning as I was reading the story. Also, Ashcroft played that role at times. The infamous wiretap hospital visit comes to mind.
