Don't get too exciting. It takes place in a basement under the Department of Commerce, and is about buying debt obligations, securing mining rights in Africa, and hoarding dollars.
You know, one of the things missing from the original "Red Dawn" was racism. Yeah, there were Cubans everywhere, but they were portrayed reasonably well, and the bulk of the Wolverines' anger was directed at the Soviets. If the new villain is China(?), we could have some good old "yellow peril" stuff at work.

Forget Karate Kid and Robocop...HERE'S an 80s remake no one asked for!
Actually, I've been asking for this one for some time.
I can vouch for that.
WOLVERINES!
I will totally see this. I will see it twice if it is dedicated to the Swayze.

Fair enough, this could be a great train wreck. Maybe even more so than "Legion."
And yeah, I think China is confirmed as the villain.
